Technology was born to improve people’s lives and thanks to it comes facial recognition to solve a common problem: remembering all passwords. And it is that you dedicate yourself to what you do, if you are on the internet, you have to remember at least a couple of passwords.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The problem: Remembering all the passwords<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Every time we want to register on a platform or create a new profile, we have to think of a new combination of characters. The desire to finish quickly leads us to repeat the same simple password as always, precisely the most vulnerable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, easy combinations, such as consecutive sequences, single digit repeats, or words like \u201cpassword\u201d, do not pose any challenge to cybercriminals<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The typical \u201c12345\u201d, \u201cpassword\u201d or \u201c1q2w3e\u201d are examples of passwords that are used by everyone and that put at risk the data that, in theory, we try to protect. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

We normally opt for weak passwords because they are easier to remember, but we have to keep in mind that passwords do not have to be simple. On the contrary, they are a barrier to protect our data, our personal information, etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And although people manage to create apparently complicated alphanumeric passwords, the truth is that they cannot match the level of complexity of systems beyond their reasoning, artificially created passwords, or more advanced systems, such as biometrics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authenticating with a static password makes unauthorized access to services and information more likely. The passwords we repeat daily no longer serve their purpose . <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The problem is that we have to remember many keys and passwords on a daily basis.  We have many and more that we will have as we register on more platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Users don’t like passwords and we don’t have time for special characters, capital letters, signs, etc. Luckily everything is already inventing… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The solution: facial recognition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The biometric login<\/a> via facial recognition can put an end to the nightmare of passwords. With a selfie, we provide physical evidence of our identity. The system collects this data and compares it with the information it has. If there is a match, the system validates us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Face recognition-based login uses data that is unique, differentiates individuals, and is non-transferable. Hence the biometrics<\/a>  are a crucial element in justifying a person’s digital identity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authentication systems based on facial recognition eliminate the need to remember passwords, so they are more secure. Unlike passwords, people cannot lose or forget their “biometric data”, since it is inherent. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Biometric login verifies a user’s identity based on their biometric data. That is, from your face, your fingerprint, etc. The system confirms that the person is who they say they are before logging in to a certain platform or service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
